This is an April Fools Day joke right ?
i wonder - notice how the billboard is on "Allen Street" - and the ad makes no sense...except its a cheap way to draw attention to the brand...because even if woody allen sues - he will probably get less financially than the gain American Apparel would get as a result of the free advertising. I hope he sues them for every cent they gain from this...so he can pour all the money into a great film :)
also - notice how the graphics on the ad look poorly pasted...like its a cut and paste computer job
It's not an April Fools' joke... give it a Google... YouTube, however, is pulling an April Fools' prank today where all Featured Videos go to Rick Astley's 'Never Gonna Give You Up!'
He hasn't made a good movie in decades, though. I hope he sues and all the money goes to lawyer scumbags. ;)
I agree with that...but his lawsuit says differently...
"Allen's lawsuit describes him as among the most influential figures in the history of American film and a man who has maintained strict control over the projects with which he is associated."
ha ha ha. congrats to american apparel if this is the only billboard they put up and they are getting all this press!! Well spent ad dollars!!
