Spray Can Removed From Anus

Whether You Know It Or Not, They Are Laughing At You:

The nearly 3-minute video of a noisy operating room shows doctors and nurses laughing, giggling and cheering. At one point, a hand appears with a cell phone camera taking a close-up picture of the surgery.

As a doctor gingerly pulls out a 6-inch-long spray canister from the male patient's rectum, someone shouts, "Baby out!" amid loud cheers.

The doctor then removes the canister cap and sprays the contents toward a crowd of nurses and doctors viewing the procedure.

The 39-year-old patient, who remains unidentified, plans next week to file a complaint seeking the revocation of the licenses of those responsible and a civil suit for damages, his lawyer, Guiller Ceniza, said.

I'll warn you now, the video above is a bit graphic. It was filmed in a Philippine hospital in January and was posted recently on YouTube.com. YouTube, of course, removed the video when it began to cause a controversy but not before it spread to other sites.

It certainly makes you wonder what goes on when you are under sedation. It's a bit like when when the doctor burnt his alma mater on a patients organ some time ago. Well, it's not exactly like that, as it doesn't involve a giant canister mysteriously placed in a man's anus but it's close. Odds are, the doctors in this video will end up losing their jobs. The real question is, why would this guy risk the embarrassment involved in a public lawsuit of this kind?

So, I guess this guy had his dignity intact up to the point where he knew they were laughing at him.

I think his dignity failed when he realized he may have a lawsuit on his hands.
