Al Gore Finally Endorses Obama

Al Gore Endorses Obama And Promises To 'Help Him':

al gore

FLINT, Mich. - Al Gore announced his endorsement of Barack Obama Monday and promised to help the Democrat achieve what eluded him — the presidency.

In a letter to be e-mailed to Obama supporters, the former vice president and Nobel Prize winner wrote, "From now through Election Day, I intend to do whatever I can to make sure he is elected president of the United States."

In 2000, Gore won the popular vote but lost the disputed 2000 election to George W. Bush, who captured Florida and its electoral votes after a divided Supreme Court ended the recount. Since then, Gore has made combatting global warming his signature issue, and has been recognized worldwide for his effort — from an Academy Award for a documentary for his effort to the Nobel prize.

Don't you love how the AP worked in that 'Gore won the popular vote in 2000' line? Look, more of the same here, this will do nothing except tie Obama to old party politics and hurt his campaign. How can you push for 'change' whilst hanging tight with the old guard? It makes no sense. Then again, Al Gore never makes much sense.

Will Al Gore Choose A Candidate?

All Eyes Are Focused On The Only Major Endorsement Remaining:

news blog

May 15 (Bloomberg) -- John Edwards's endorsement yesterday of Barack Obama leaves former Vice President Al Gore as the major Democratic figure still on the sidelines in the party's presidential race.

Edwards, a former North Carolina senator who ended his own bid for the nomination in January, said Obama is the candidate who can unite Democrats for the ``fight of our lives'' in the November election.

``The reason that I am here tonight is because the Democratic voters of America have made their choice and so have I,'' he told a cheering crowd of about 12,500 people at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with Obama at his side.

My money says he stays out but if not Barack Obama is his man.

A Really Inconvenient Truth

Al Gore Busted Trying To Pass Off CGI As Actual Footage:

It's quite obviously the same footage. This is example number 10,218 when it comes to why you can't trust Al Gore. An Inconvenient Truth is full of more errors and misleading statements than a Michael Moore flick. Now we know that Gore used CGI footage from a movie to shock and awe his viewers. This movie is still being used in schools around the globe to frighten children and their parents into buying carbon credits from Al Gore. In an interview with the UK Sun published yesterday, Gore said nothing has improved since his movie was released. Is anyone still buying this hype?

Al Gore Updates Slideshow

Al Gore's Error-Ridden 'Warming' Slideshow Has Been Revamped:

In Al Gore's brand-new slideshow, he presents evidence that the pace of climate change may be even worse than scientists were recently predicting, and challenges us to act with a sense of "generational mission" -- the kind of feeling that brought forth the civil rights movement -- to set it right. Gore's stirring presentation is followed by a brief Q&A in which he is asked for his verdict on the current political candidates' climate policies and on what role he himself might play in future.

Shocker. Al Gore thinks 'man-made climate change' is even more dangerous than the non-scientist previously thought. He's been going crazy Googling 'stranded polar bear' and 'warming earth' and he has some new 'facts' for you. Gore compares his 'mission' to alert the world to the 'dangers' of ''climate change' to the struggles faced by African Americans in the midst of the civil rights movement. The comparison is almost as laughable as Gore's silly slideshow.

Meanwhile, Willaim Grey, and expert on weather patterns and hurricane forecasting says "we're brainwashing our children" about global warming. Gore looks a bit like Jenny McCarthy here.
