Shock: UFO Or Flying Human

Something Strange Is Flying In The Skies Above Mexico:

SENSATIONAL sightings of a flying HUMAN above the skies of Mexico could be genuine, says a paranormal expert.

The mysterious woman-like figure was caught on camera as it hovered above mountains in Nuevo Leon city.

UFO watchers said the figure appeared to be wearing a cape leading to claims that it was a witch or wizard when it was first seen in 2006.

Now Mexico’s leading Ufologist Anna Luisa Cid says the sightings were true after carrying out her own investigations.

Crazy. They even dubbed in the Unsolved Mysteries music ala Robert Stack. First things first, I'm not quite sure what a 'Ufologist' is but my guess is that you can obtain a diploma by mail. Ann Luisa wants to believe. I'm a skeptic by nature and I just can't fathom the fact that witch-like creatures are floating around in Mexico. The website GhostTheory.com claims this was filmed back in 2006 (as the video suggests) but for some reason the UK Sun ran with it today.

Some witnesses claim to have actually encountered the 'witch'.

Officer Samaniego (visibly shaking in the video right after the encounter) claims that while on patrol in his vehicle, the entity fell from a tree and onto the hood of the vehicle. The officer describes the entity as having female traits. He also describes as it having large eyes and dark skin. Wearing what appeared to be a cloak. He then claims that the entity placed it’s hand on the windshield and after that point he passed out. He only remembers waking up in his patrol car. Shirt and vest disheveled. He called in for backup and medical assistance.

I'm not buying any of this but the details sure are enticing.

Update: Commenter 'Peeved Guy' suggests it may be a viral marketing ploy for Will Smith's upcoming movie Hancock. I disagree but it's an interesting thought none the less.

I'll bet you a shiny new quarter that it's a viral marketing ploy for Hancock.

I agree with you in most cases. These do often tend to be marketing ploys. But for what? The video was filmed in 2006... unless all of these witnesses are on the payroll. Then again, Mexican cops aren't tough to buy. After watching the trailer, I still doubt it, I'll take your bet!

Can I also say, at risk of sounding like a jackass, that Hancock looks pretty like a pretty cool movie!

I don't speak a lick of Spanish, so I have no idea what is being said in the video, so keep that in mind when I say this: Is there any corroborating "evidence" that this was filmed in 2006? Or just that GhostTheory.com says it was?

And, no, you don't sound like a jackass to me. I saw bits and pieces of some ads for the film, so I kinda knew what it was about, which is why I thought of it immediately, but today was the first time I watched the whole trailer and it does look like it has the potential to be an awesome movie.

Yeah, you make a good point. The source of this is not the Sun but the Ghost website which I have never heard of before. The site does look to have been around for a while and it does link to several sources that corroborate the date on the tape... Still, it would be a great gimmick if it was a promotion deal...

I don't think that's Unsolved Mysteries music; it's from the X-Files.

Obviously it's the Chupacabra.
