Dramatic Photos Show A Marines Narrow Escape From Death:
A U.S. Marine from the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit flinches in a firefight with the Taliban near Garmser in Helmand Province, Afghanistan. The Marine was uninjured in the exchange.
The battle for Garmser has become heated in the last few months. Fortunately, the Marines are slowly but surely weeding Taliban forces out of the area. This particular Marine could certainly use a helmet and bulletproof vest. Thankfully, his cat-like reflexes kicked in.

Fake! Fakeditty Fake!
No other soldiers. No "real" gear. And someone stops to take pictures in a firefight.
Plus the Taliban is actually winning, not being weeded out.
Bullshit fake photo.
Settle down naysayer... the photos were snapped by a Reuters photog... I know, I know, they've faked 'em before... these are as genuine as your lack of common sense.
Good thing he didn't get hit, but seriously, not too smart not wearing protective gear and a helmet.
Sure, I can imagine it being quite hot at times but it's certainly better to be hot than dead. I think we can all agree on that.
This is a picture of my cousin billy... the family received a call informing us of the picture that was posted and to ensure us that he was okay, just banged and bruised...definitely not a fake!!!
